WEST LOTHIAN has seen 525 college students move on to positive destinations after their studies in 2020-21.
The latest figures show that 14,930 students or 90% in Scotland went on to positive destinations, which includes further study at university or into employment.
Commenting, Angela Constance MSP said:
“It is extremely encouraging to see so many young people in West Lothian making the most of their studies and going on to further education or gaining employment.
“It is very good news to see that this trend has been repeated across Scotland, with 90% of college leavers going on to positive destinations.
“This demonstrates how Scotland’s colleges are equipping our young people well to go on and secure a job or take their studies further.
“Despite the economic challenges being faced at this time, the Scotland’s job market continues to recover from the pandemic.”
