ALMOND VALLEY MSP HIGHLIGHTS SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY

Angela Constance MSP is highlighting the annual Small Business Saturday Campaign and encouraging constituents to support local businesses this Christmas.

Small Business Saturday 2019 takes place on December 7^th and is designed to support, inspire and promote small businesses during the busiest shopping period of the year. Ms Constance previously sponsored the Small Business Saturday Coach Tour Team visiting Holyrood in November to highlight the importance of shopping local and using our small businesses.  She also paid a visit to local dog grooming parlour Adorable Dogs, based in her Constituency, who were delighted to have the support of their local MSP to highlight the good work they do

Commenting, Angela said,

“I am always pleased to support Small Business Saturday, not only does it benefit our local businesses it also serves the community and local economy.

“Throughout the year I enjoy visiting the local shops and cafes across my constituency and it is never more important to use them in the run up to the festive period.

“Following   “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday”  it is important that we remember to use these businesses that are the heart of our local communities.

“I encourage my constituents shop local this month and show your support for our small businesses.  I will be doing likewise.
